YELLOW STRIPES
Glass tiles from Waterworks line the walls and floor in the guest bathroom of the California country home by designer Jay Jeffers. The floral stripes break up the space and add a note of whimsy.

SILVER TRIM
Silver travertine tiles, Ann Sacks's Palladium, line the walls and floor of a Boston townhouse's master bath.

COLORED GROUT
Gray-grouted Nemo subway tiles line the walls of an apartment's second bath.

CIRCULAR PATTERN
The circular motif of Ann Sacks's Beau Monde Glass Mosaics tile in this San Francisco master bath echos the curved stool and Roman colour.

MODERN BOHEMIAN
"I like to blur boundaries," says designer Karen Vidal. The layout is based on a block print, although is comparable to that of a cement floor in Spain.

BUILT-IN FRAME
A geometric layout encloses the mirror and sconces at a New York bath, with tile from Studium.

SLEEK SILVER
Designers James Michael and Phoebe Howard found the inspiration for a New York City apartment at the Hollywood hit Something's GotId Offer. The side-splash of Asher Grey marble tiles is from Ann Sacks.

MOROCCAN BLUE
At a Cape Cod bathroom, designer Kyle Timothy Blood created a T-shaped carpeting of tile at a Moroccan design. "Did you notice how the 'rug' runs right under the vanity?" The designer says. The tile and woodwork is out of Mosaic House.
